Coriander Girl

13 Feb

The finding of a leaf of coriander in one of our Uni sandwiches has been the cause for quite a bit of excitement. It was none other than Shuli who found it of course (i don’t know how but she’s always on top of these things) and now we can’t get enough.

I was witness to this wonderful event, and it went something like this-

“Waah! Whats this?! A coriander leaf in my sandwich? A coriander leaf! Look! Look! A coriander leaf. I put it in everything I eat at home!!”

So true. Why don’t we see enough coriander leaves around here? We DO put it in everything we eat and home, and the food gets seasoned wonderfully.

To add to the coriander leaf, there is also some shredded carrot in this lovely ‘Crunchily Hommus Salad’ Sandwich. Although, it does lack in salt a bit (this is important if you’re a fan of salt like me. I can eat salt by itself).

So if you are at Warwick Uni, go try it! Its available at the Arts Center Cafe.

If you please, I have a request. As you know, I’m obsessed with peanut butter and Tesco has a huge range. For example, they have regular Tesco chunky peanut butter, but they also have something called Whole Nut butter which is like… whole nuts? And there’s an organic range of peanut butter which looks simply amazing and has flavours like “no added sugar”. I was wondering, if it’s not too much trouble, and not too expensive, would you consider reviewing the various peanut butters and doing a post on what you think of them?
